Download audio from messenger app

First, find the audio message that you want to save within Messenger. Right-click or double-click on the file and it will download to your Download folder. An alternate method involves using the mobile version of Facebook on your desktop computer. Once there, click on messages and find the audio file you want to save. Once you find it, click the down-facing arrow in next to the audio clip. The audio file will be automatically downloaded to your designated download folder e.

If your computer cannot play the audio file, you can install VLC media player or simply convert the file into a compatible format like MP3. There are several software and apps that allow you to record audio playback on your screen, such as Audacity for Windows computers or Piezo for Mac. Technically, you will not be downloading the audio file or voice clip. Instead, you will be playing it on your device and then recording the audio, which will then be saved as an audio file.

The disadvantage with this method is that background noise will tend to be included in your recorded audio. However, background noise can be easily removed using audio editing software like Audacity. Just play the audio clip on Messenger and tap the notification drawer to start recording right away.

You can even use an audio recording app or software if you prefer. Luis is the founder and editor of Tech Pilipinas. Tags Messenger.

I was able to use the second method without problems, both on the messenger website and in the message area on Facebook-thanks! I have a question about the first method, though; I don't appear to have a Network tab… is it called something different on Mavericks, or is it hidden someplace non-obvious? Try updating Safari. Which version are you using? I'm using Safari 7. According to my husband, who built my Hackintosh, I can't get a newer Safari until he updates the operating system, but he doesn't feel like doing that at this time.

Do I just not have a Network tab? Goingcrazy maybe under the Timeline tab? I have a tab called Timelines, and under it there is something called Network Requests… But it, and all the other options, bring up totally empty grids of some sort.
