The research I have been doing the past couple days has lead me to that understanding as well. It looks like the best I can do is create a local repository and use the dell client system update to have the workstations pull the updates from the repository. On a somewhat unrelated note, how was the visit from the Dell Tiger Team? Do you like Openmanager tools for managing updates to your Dell servers?

We're a Dell shop, so this might be something we could implement here as well. The visit went well. We ended up dealing with a lot of issues since getting a vmware host configured to work with SNMP requires a reboot and I didn't have that setup yet. My download of the ISO were corrupt and we had to wait to redownload it. We got some of it taken care of, but we wasted a lot of time. If you can arrange for someone to come in, make sure you get a full list of everything that would be helpful to have in place and get it going ahead of time.

That way, you are just installing and using the tools when they arrive. My goal is to have them back later in the year to go over it again and make sure I am still using it correctly. They tools are useful but not very intuitive.
